You are what you eat...(or drink)

Just a couple of kids, who are up to no good. They gave us a house and did not realize the ramifications. So we are planting an orchard of apples. The good kind. The kind your grandparents wrote about. The kind that caused our great thinkers and writers to send praise to the heavens. The kind you can't find any more. After we grow these magical little fruits, we're going to turn them into cider. Not that sweet fizzy stuff. The nice nuanced bubbly semi-dry cider that was once a staple of the American Diet. Before you had to say "organic" to get the good stuff. I mean, what do you want when enjoying the fine local fare? I don't know about you, but we want the thing that the region does best. And here in Maine, we want that to be our cider.
