Welcome friends...
What began in 2014 as an apple orchard focused on fermentable fruits, Belstar Orchards has since grown to encompass perennial and annual herbs, pollinators, beneficials, flowers, and the occasional pig. Situated on five acres of mixed fields and woodlot in the Tropics of Buxton, Belstar is the culmination of the dreams of educator/herbalist Stacey Barnes and orchardist/butcher Galen Cunning, growing top quality herbs and flowers using sustainable practices, regenerating the landscape through low impact cultivation methods, while nurturing habitat for native plants and animals.
Whilst life has the us amazingly busy, we have still found time for the little pleasures, like rope swings, scratching pig bellies, and dinner. Upon visiting, you may encounter apple blossoms, violet, dandelion, sunflower, lilac, yarrow, anise hyssop, evening primrose, lavender, vining and bush roses, and clovers. These are but a few of the sights and scents that Grace the landscape. Please feel welcome to search out any we may have missed!
